Kaiser Permanente Expands Partnership with the National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership to Address Housing Stability
Kaiser Permanente, the nationβs largest integrated, nonprofit healthcare provider, is expanding its innovative Medical-Legal Partnership Initiative across seven of its regions. The National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership at the Milken Institute School of Public Health today announced receiving a nearly $2 million grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to study the benefits of legal interventions on patients and healthcare organizations.
NCMLP Becomes HRSA-Funded Technical Assistance Center
The National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership was awarded a 3-year National Cooperative Agreement (NCA) from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to cultivate and support medical-legal partnerships at community health centers across the country. The award comes with $300,000 in grant funds per year.
National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership Moves to its New Home at the George Washington University
The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services announced today that, thanks in part to funding from The Kresge Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, it is launching the National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership, a project aimed at ensuring every low-income individual has access to legal care as part of comprehensive health care.
