International Health-Law Initiatives

Bringing the medical and legal professions together has great potential to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities, both across the U.S. and worldwide. The National Center is pleased to be working with the Open Society Institute (OSI)'s Law and Health Initiative, which was established in 2005 to support legal strategies that advance public health goals in a number of countries, including Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Indonesia and Tanzania.
