Call for Proposals -- Maternal and Child Health Bureau Offers MLP Funding

HRSA’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau announced a funding opportunity for Healthy Start grantees to implement a demonstration program in urban and rural communities to support the development of advocacy capacity through medical-legal partnership.

Applicants will compete for three $150,000 grants.  Existing MLPs are encouraged to collaborate on applications with Healthy Start grantees in their communities.  Applications will also be accepted from Healthy Start sites planning to incorporate legal services into their practice.   HRSA is offering an informational webinar on June 29th for Healthy Start grantees only.  Download the application guidelines and instructions below.  Applications are due July 16, 2010.
