Chief Executive Officer, Managed Emergency Surge for Healthcare, Inc.

Chad Priest is the CEO of Managed Emergency Surge for Healthcare (MESH), a coalition of businesses and healthcare providers working to expand the medical surge capacity of healthcare entities in Central Indiana.

Previously, Mr. Priest was an attorney at the law firm of Baker & Daniels LLP, practicing in Indianapolis, Indiana and Washington, D.C.  Mr. Priest is also a Registered Nurse and a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Community Health.  He concentrates his practice in the area of health care law with an emphasis on public health law and policy. Utilizing his background in direct patient care and community health, he counsels clients on a broad range of regulatory and operational issues at the intersection of healthcare, public health, health policy and the law.  He also works with healthcare and public health clients on advocacy, public policy and legislative matters at the local, state and federal level.

Mr. Priest is a founding member of the Indiana Health Advocacy Coalition (IHAC), a regional collaboration of medical-legal partnerships in Indiana.  He is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School and received his Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Indiana University School of Nursing.
