Judith Dolins, MPH

Director, Department of State & Chapter Affairs, American Academy of Pediatrics

Judy Dolins is currently the Director of the Department of Community, Chapter and State Affairs at the American Academy of Pediatrics. The department works to advance child health at the state and local levels through advocacy, community-based programs and the development of organizationally sound chapters. The department supports pediatrician led community-based programs and resident training activities that improve children’s access to quality health care; provides management and advocacy consultation to the Academy’s 66 chapters; and monitors state legislation related to pediatrics across 50 states.  The department also houses the Chapter Alliance for Quality Improvement (CAQI); a network to assist chapters in promoting quality improvement activities at the practice level.

Ms. Dolins serves on the Advisory Board of the Vermont Child Health Improvement Programs (VCHIP) Improvement Partnership Initiative.   She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
